Pre-Order Push

So, I learned a lot from the first book. Did a lot of reasearch on ARC readers, but couldn’t find a good way to do it and just didn’t feel good about paying folks to be ARC readers. I also wasn’t convinced that was really the kind of reviews I wanted.

I decided instead to do a couple months of pre-orders. I figured that people who truly love urban fantasy and support indie authors would be willing to pay $1.99 (pretty small amount when a cup of coffee can be 5x that). I also figured, if someone was willing to spend money they would be much more committed to reviewing what they bought (have to wait and see if I was right).

Of course, the hard part is still getting the word out. But, over the last few weeks the pre-orders have picked up and the count as of right now (8/10/26 8:13 pm PST) is 45 pre-orders!!!

There are 21 days left, so fingers crossed that we hit my goal of 100 by September 1, 2026. And then if luck really holds that will turn into around 50+ reviews before October 1, 2026.

In the meantime, I have two book signings scheduled for September and I’m communicating right now with the Barnes & Noble in Lynnwood, WA regarding a book signing in October!

THANK YOU ALL for your support!
